“We were waiting to finally be in summer, you in front of the house making us laugh trying to catch flies. The damp grass of mornings without an alarm clock, breakfasts that last until dinner in the shade of lime trees, starry skies, glass in hand, welcoming sleep. Waiting for a birth, we didn't think about your absence”.
Yann Stofer's zine recounts a very special summer, combining the birth of his daughter with the death of his dog. With images that are both soft and nostalgic, these photographs transport us into an intimate and touching summer atmosphere.
