This book was originally produced in 2020 in an edition of 76 copies created following Yumi Goto and Jan Rosseel's masterclass Photo book as Object. “Sokohi” is a Japanese term that describes an eye disease that causes vision loss. In this book, Suzuki documents his father's vision loss due to glaucoma; the images are a mix of family archives and photographs taken by his father. He attempts to show us what people with this disease can no longer perceive and, conversely, what they see that we cannot.
