Kenta Cobayashi - Everything 2

Four years after the release of Everything 1, Cobayashi unveiled Everything 2 in 2020. In this series, he shares his vision of the contemporary city, focusing on the lifestyles of young residents of large cities, mainly young residents of Tokyo.

Unlike other professional photographers who are generally trained to hide the use of digital media in their photographs, Cobayashi plays with it. Known for his generous manipulation of tools such as Photoshop, the photographer produces prints with acidulous colors and dancing shapes. It is possible to trace in his prints the multiple movements he has made. Using elements present in his photos such as the light of headlights, cars, or the hair color of a pedestrian, he creates movement and traces his path through the city.
