Jan Hoek - New Ways of Photographing the New Masai

The Maasai are still photographed in the same way: jumping through the wilderness while wearing traditional clothing and jewelry, almost like a herd of animals. But more and more Maasai are starting to live in cities and are buying their first Nikes and cell phones. With seven urban Maasai, Jan Hoek tried to find a new way to photograph the new Maasai.
