Liz named her daughter Lisa Marie, after Elvis Presley's daughter. Clémentine Schneidermann, a French photographer living in Cardiff, Wales, met her in Newport, not far from Porthcawl, a seaside resort that hosts one of the biggest festivals each year that pays tribute to the "King". Liz is one of tens of thousands of fans who are lulled by nostalgia for their idol.
Between 2013 and 2017, Clémentine Schneidermann took portraits of Steve, Samantha, Ian, among others, these whimsical worshipers whose often melancholic faces transform when the music is in full swing. Among them, the photographer became friends with Alison and her son Johnny Be Goode, the stage name of an endearing young fan.
