Just Like on the Radio is a collection of works by the Japanese photographer Erika Yoshino (1970-). Born in Saitama prefecture, Erika Yoshino graduated from the Tokyo School of Photography in 1994. At the time, she mainly created monochrome street photos, and her point of view was so strong that Shino Kuraishi described her as a "wild snapper". Since 2000, however, she has moved on to color work, and her landscapes and still lifes, which are fragments of everyday life cut out from a single point of view, sometimes have a strength that reminds us of Yoshiko Seino. This book is a collection of illustrations full of photographic skill, which seem banal but are somehow captivating.
