This is a rare edition by post-war Japanese photographer Daido Moriyama that was published in 1972. Kagero, Ephemeral in Japanese, features poetic black and white photographs of nudes and bondage, where several female models are in natural landscapes. The publication remains the artist's only commission to produce a series of erotica, but it was originally intended exclusively for the eyes of a private audience. Moriyama is an award-winning photographer who has worked alongside some of Japan's most talented photographers such as Eikoh Hosoe.
