CARTE BLANCHE - BRUNO LABARBERE

 

For the publication of Bruno Labarbère 's first book, Mizuwari , published by Hemeria, we are pleased to give him Carte Blanche from May 23 to 27, 2023 to exhibit his prints at the gallery.

Mizuwari (literally, cut with water) is the story in black and white images of Bruno Labarbère's daytime wanderings and nighttime encounters in Japan and, more precisely, in Tokyo. Bruno powerfully restores here his emotions and sensations of the time, with an aesthetic that is reminiscent of that of other great masters of Japanese photography.
