Bercy Street Workout, Marine Peixoto
Wednesday, June 19, 6:45 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

For this series, which was on display at the Bal until May, Marine Peixoto photographed the municipal street workout area in the Parc de Bercy, in the 12th arrondissement in Paris, which brings together many athletes and bodybuilding enthusiasts every day.

Her practice follows the rhythm of the terrain, and like some do push-ups and pull-ups, Marine Peixoto carries out intensive work on taking pictures.
"Pushing" every day on the ground is sculpting oneself, working on a work. This experience of exhaustion of a place and a look is also an implacable act of faith towards others and towards oneself.
