MEETING - SIGNING WITH STEPHEN DOCK

36
Stephen Dock
18.01.2023, 7 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

On the occasion of his exhibition at the Filature, Stephen Dock carries out a photographic work immersed in the former Mulhouse remand center a few months after its final closure.

The book "36" brings together thirty-six images from the same film, edited in the original order of shooting.
The work, constrained within itself, evokes the experience of confinement in a single space, the “individual walk”.
By compulsively photographing it, the author takes over this place and confronts its walls.
