"Meanwhile" est une collection de photographies prises pendant le tout premier confinement par des étudiants français en direction artistique de Penninghen et des étudiants japonais de la Kyoto University of the Arts. Les élèves, rassemblés en duos franco-japonais, ont appris à se connaître à travers ces photographies.

Le partenariat entre les deux écoles a été l'occasion de trouver des moyens de dialoguer au-delà des barrières de la langue et de la rencontre physique.

Il a également permis aux étudiants de partager leurs angoisses issues de la période incongrue de confinement dans laquelle ils étaient immergés à chaque extrémité de la Terre, créant ainsi des liens pour faire face à ce quasi bouleversement planétaire.

Il y a 13 duos et la collection comprend près de 300 photographies.

"Meanwhile" is a collection of photographs taken during the very first lockdown by French students from Penninghen school and Japanese students of Kyoto University of the Arts. The students formed French-Japanese duos and got to know each other through these photographs. The partnership between the two schools was an opportunity to find ways to dialogue beyond the barriers of language and beyond physical encounter.

It also allowed the students to share the anxieties created by the incongruous period of lockdown in which they were immersed at each end of the  Earth, creating bonds to cope with this almost planetary upheaval.

There are 13 duos and the collection includes nearly 300 photographs.
